Terms of Service
Last updated: 24 September 2026
These terms cover your use of techru's messaging assistant (SMS, RCS, or any equivalent channel we operate) and this website. By messaging the assistant, you agree to these terms.
The service
techru's assistant is an automated conversational service. Replies are AI-generated and may occasionally be wrong, incomplete, or unavailable. It is not a substitute for professional advice (medical, legal, financial, or otherwise), and it does not handle emergencies — if you need urgent help, contact local emergency services directly.
Acceptable use
Don't use the service to send unlawful, harassing, or abusive content, to attempt to extract another person's data, or to try to disrupt or reverse-engineer the underlying system. We may suspend access for a number if we reasonably believe it's being used this way.
Messaging & opt-out
Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP; reply HELP for support.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is". We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, techru is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
